Welcome back Britt, I missed you and your wisdom!

Thank you for sharing this update, though I'm so sorry to hear you've been through a difficult birth and your son's life had a terrifying start. I wish health and healing for you both. And thank you for holding our hands and opening up space for reflection and essential conversations amidst such big challenges, both personal and global. You're a bright light!!

Hi Britt, Margherita Pevere writing. We met at your book presentation for the Finnish Bioart Society in Helsinki a few winters ago.

Congratulation for your bold and insightful work, as always!

I have been working on climate change and environmental disruption since many years through my art and research. As a child-free adult, my thoughts are for the many young fellow humans that surround me. In recent times I started addressing parenting friends about their thoughts and feelings in regards to climate change. I offered them my listening ear for their feelings and also my literacy on the matter. The majority of them said that it feels faraway. When asked if they ever address the topic with fellow parents, the answer was the same. Someone also reacted in a protective way and said I was a bringer of misfortune. I believe in the power of art and activism and science and frankness and trust the conversation spurred some reflections in them, yet no one touched the topic again - they probably needs time. In the podcast it would be of help to unpack these different perspectives.

I wish you all the best for your work and the new critter!
