Thanks for the free therapy. I like the map making idea. We can learn how to make new maps!

As a cartographer, I *love* this analogy.

Perhaps this article might be a useful resource re Caroline's suggestion of unconscious existential terror?

Thank you. This is helpful. I resonate with the second "Dear Climate Therapist" letter. I had done a lot of "inner and outer activist" work on climate issues and was able to stay flexible and resilient. But add in the chaotic, cruel political turmoil and I constantly need to go back to the basics so I'm not washed off my feet. To your excellent suggestions, I would add spiritual grounding (vastly different than spiritual bypass).

Thank you. This is life-giving wisdom I so badly needed.

Thank you for these actionable responses, Caroline. Yes – no maps – I often say there’s no script: we’re forever writing it. And “– just don’t let your heart get crushed or silenced” makes me sad. As Britt and Renee often kindly remind us: we are not alone.

And ya’ll are reminding me of “Doppelganger: A Trip Into The Mirror World” by Naomi Klein. Big READ on those things “harder to name”.

Similar questions arose in our WGSS class last night, so I'm sharing this excellent response—thank you!
